Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile customer service professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maximise event enquiries into confirmed bookings, up-selling where possible;
- Coordinate events efficiently, friendly and productively;
- Anticipate clients' needs, delivering personal and flexible services;
- Maintain and report accurate sales information;
- Ensure account management tasks are completed from proposal to account closure;
- Create and uphold client relationships, following up on all bookings;
- Address daily activities in accordance with organisational standards;
- Represent the organisation at trade shows, expos and functions;
- Oversee multiple events, ensuring each runs according to plan and schedule;
- Manage shift and staff schedules for events.

Essential Skills:

- Minimum 2-3 years sales/event experience in events or hospitality;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Good physical fitness as this role can be physically demanding;
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach to work;
- Strategic thinking skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects;
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge of event software an advantage;
- Fantastic communication skills;
- RSA and RCG Certificates;
- Excellent time management and administration skills.

As a strong communicator with a professional phone manner and high standard of personal grooming, you will demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to customer service and pride in your appearance and workplace. You must be able to work in a team as well as autonomously, being flexible and reliable when required, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
