Event Services Coordinator

This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in providing exceptional service to clients during hotel events. The Event Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the coordination of services provided during hotel events.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure flawless, upscale, professional, and high-class guest service experiences.
  • Manage daily operations of the department and ensure all team members comply with service standards, policies, and procedures set by the hotel.
  • Liaise with various departments and external vendors to monitor the quality of service provided.
  • Maintain the quality of equipment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

Talent Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in similar roles at luxury hotels/resorts.
  • Familiarity with working alcohol service knowledge (i.e., wine service).
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles advantageous.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient computing skills (e.g., Microsoft Word).
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
