Regional Operations Manager

Qube Bulk is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to lead our Mining Logistics Operations in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our operations to meet established Qube objectives, focusing on Health, Safety, Environmental, Operational, and Financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and requirements.
- Manage customer, quality assurance, and documentation requirements.
- Develop, implement, and execute the Regional Business Plan.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities to line managers and superintendents.
- Manage operating cost performance, including budget development and management.
- Assist with future regional projects, including opportunity identification, operational design, and execution plans.
- Liaise with customers, regulatory authorities, and suppliers to promote Qube Bulk.
- Provide timely and accurate data input and reporting on regional operational performance and business development.
- Broad knowledge of the Mining Logistics, trucking, bulk haulage, and port sectors.
- Operations management experience in logistics, transport, and mining services.
- Track record of managing a business unit, setting and delivering a budget, leading a team, negotiating an employee agreement, and managing an operation safely.
- Commercial and contract management experience.
- Budget and business P&L accountability.
- Prior exposure to safety culture in resources, oil & gas, and logistics sectors.
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing and developing employees, ideally in a ports, mining, logistics, or heavy industry environment.
- Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
