
Specialist Family Violence Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Violence Worker to join our team in Launceston. As part of our Adult, Children and Young Persons Program, you will play a critical role in providing specialist services to individuals and families affected by family violence.

About the Role:
- Provide specialist services to adults, children and young people affected by family violence, including assessment, intervention, and support.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective services and achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and implement programs that address the complex needs of clients, incorporating best practice principles and evidence-based models.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family violence and its impact on individuals and communities.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including clients, carers, and other professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology to record and manage client information, as well as participate in online training and meetings.
