Role Overview:

The Family Violence Worker will provide specialist services to adults, children and young people affected by family violence in accordance with best practice principles and within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as an effective member of a professional team in the provision of services to Adults, Children and Young People affected by family violence
  • Deliver programs that incorporate multi-level assessments and interventions and address the needs of adults, children and young people affected by family violence
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carers and other staff and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family violence and its impact on adults, children and young people
  • Registered with the relevant National Board or in the case of self-regulated allied health professions with either full membership or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
  • Current Working with Children Registration
