
Adult Family Violence Recovery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Violence Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults affected by family violence.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work collaboratively with clients, carers, and other stakeholders to provide information, assessment, counseling, referrals, group work, and other appropriate forms of therapeutic intervention.
- Assist adults to recover from their experience of family violence through the provision of targeted support services.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of programs and group sessions designed to promote healing and empowerment.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, carers, and other service providers on issues related to family violence.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family violence and its impact on adults.
- Proven ability to work effectively with complex cases and apply appropriate models of intervention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, carers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing circumstances.
