About the Opportunity

As a Course Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of Maritime Warfare Officer Courses at KBR Inc. This role involves course planning and implementation, resource management, and maintaining the course schedule in collaboration with various stakeholders, including TA-MW (Navy) and the KBR CIO. The successful candidate will ensure timely communication of course information, program updates, and changes to instructors and participants, while managing student data in compliance with defense information management protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Maritime Warfare Officer Courses in line with KBR Inc.'s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and manage course resources, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage student data and ensure compliance with defense information management protocols.
  • Communicate course information, program updates, and changes to instructors and participants in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by working with stakeholders to update course materials, content, and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Relevant broad-based experience in adult learning, VET, or broad matrix competency frameworks (government and/or industry settings).
  • Experience working in the government contracts environment.
  • An approved Certificate or Diploma in education and training, industry area or approved equivalent higher education qualifications.
  • Sound knowledge and experience of adult learning, Learning Management Systems, performance support systems, and other technologies.
  • Functional knowledge of the VET sector, RTO organisations and/or corporate learning and development frameworks.
  • NV1 security clearance is required.
