Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to join our team as Academic Tutors for Data Science courses in 2024. As a tutor, you will be responsible for supporting students in their learning journey, assisting with course materials, and contributing to the development of online resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with teaching and learning activities, including lecturing, tutorial leading, and marking assignments.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality educational resources, such as online tutorials and study guides.
  • Provide support to students through office hours, email, and online forums.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of curriculum-aligned content.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong academic background in Economics or a related field, with a minimum qualification of a Master's degree.
  • Proven experience in teaching and learning, preferably in a tertiary education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
