We are currently offering a great opportunity for a driven Account Manager Agronomy to join our team. The focus of your role will be to develop strong customer relationships in this major agricultural region in South Australia.

    About the opportunity:
    • You will work closely with our key clients in the Kimba region to provide superior agronomic advice and inputs with a focus on broadacre agronomy and crop monitoring.
    • You will share information with producers related to environmental and seasonal conditions affecting crop production, perform soil testing and study other factors affecting production in order to provide sound fertiliser, nutrient, and soil recommendations to improve quality and yield.
    • The crop list grows every year with farmers looking to diversify, so we offer a great opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of horticulture/broadacre cropping.
    • In addition, you will conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers.
    • You will also work collaboratively with branch staff to drive promotions, merchandising and sales performance.
    • Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting edge farmers and who have significant experience partnering with producers
    • Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises

    About you:
    • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application, preferable broadacre and/or pasture experience
    • Ideally you will have a minimum 2 - 3 years (but not essential) building and ensuring successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and services
    • History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed and chemical products and application applicable to those crops
    • You will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
    • A driver's licence and whilst not essential a forklift licence would be advantageous.
