
Workplace Law Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Workplace Law Specialist. As part of our dedicated Workplace Law Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and services in respect of workplace law matters to the claims department of Avant Insurance and our members.
- Provide expert legal service to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
- A broad remit of workplace law issues, including compliance, termination, discrimination, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
- Represent medical practitioners and medical practices in courts, tribunals, and inquiries and instruct counsel in complex cases.
Key skills and qualifications required include:
- Relevant tertiary legal qualifications.
- Eligible to hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
- Demonstrated post-admission experience in employment law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of prioritisation, time management, and self-management skills.
- Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment.
