Workplace Relations and Employment Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer or Associate to join our Sydney Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety team.

This is an opportunity to work on high-end and often complex issues across various matters including:

  • Drafting, interpreting, and advising on employment agreements and company policies and procedures.
  • Advising on and managing industrial relations issues.
  • Providing guidance on workplace issues such as terminations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Interpreting employment legislation including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), Work Health and Safety Act, 2011 (NSW).
  • Conducting litigation such as unfair dismissal, general protections, breach of contract claims, and restraint matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Between 2-4 years of experience in employment law.
  • Relevant experience in drafting and advocacy at conciliation or directions hearings.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in managing client relationships and matters independently.
  • Passion for helping clients navigate complex workplace issues.
  • A proactive and collaborative working style.
