XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Response Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, events, and incidents.

This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The Cybersecurity Threat Response Specialist will work closely with our team to identify, contain, and remediate security threats.

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Respond to cyber-security threats, vulnerabilities, events, and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Act as a technical contributor during major security incidents, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our team's capability, including operational maturity, detection strategies, mitigation strategies, and purple teaming activities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats and stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies.
  • Meet team operational metrics and contribute to the overall success of our cybersecurity program.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on the Australian market rate.
