Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to fill the role of First Nations Employment Consultant in our Ipswich, Booval, Goodna, Darra or Indooroopilly sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to join our team at APM Employment Services and make a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to provide culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups to develop opportunities for clients.
  • Develop tailored plans for clients to create successful pathways for employment, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Empower clients by enhancing their employability skills and providing support to both clients and employers.

Requirements
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • Hold a current probationary or open Australian Driver's License (if required).
  • Pass a National Police check.
  • Obtain a MyID (standard level).
  • Pass a Working with Children's check.
  • Be eligible to work in Australia.
