Job Title

Culturally Safe Employment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and culturally competent individual to work with our clients in a supportive and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the workforce, and be able to provide tailored support to help them achieve their employment goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to clients to identify their strengths and barriers to employment
  • Developing and implementing individualised plans to assist clients in achieving their employment goals
  • Building relationships with local employers and community groups to promote job opportunities and provide information about our services
  • Delivering training and workshops to clients on topics such as resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies
