Public Sector Advisory Director, ANZ

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Public Sector business in Australia and New Zealand. As a Public Sector Advisory Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to drive growth and adoption of our Intelligent Agreement Management platform in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategy for the Public Sector across the ANZ region, engaging with key stakeholders and partners to drive growth and adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Sales, to refine messaging, build content, and engage key partners to support Public Sector sales pursuits.
- Own the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the Public Sector, ensuring alignment of our product roadmap with industry needs and engaging Government Relations on Legislative Reform.
- Lead all aspects of ANZ Public Sector strategic analysis, planning, and execution, including total addressable market and segment opportunity analysis, competitive analysis, and Docusign differentiation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, customer advocate, and partner to Docusign's most strategic Public Sector customers, providing guidance on implementation strategies and best practices.
- Participate in Sales Cycles to drive the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) vision in the context of the ANZ Public Sector vertical, working closely with Sales teams to develop tangible sales plays and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with Marketing on thought leadership initiatives, developing content for sales enablement and customer engagement that aligns with our IAM narrative.
- Liaise between Public Sector executives and Government Relations teams to advise and drive Legislative Reform, engaging key stakeholders to support our Public Sector business.
- Engage, develop, and extend partnerships with key ISVs and SIs, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and adoption.
- Support presence at industry events, both Docusign and third-party, as an inspiring leader, delivering keynote speeches, panel discussions, and product demonstrations.
- Work with Enablement to refine knowledge and training programs for Sales teams within the Public Sector vertical, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to drive growth and adoption.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to advise and define eSignature and IAM requirements for the ANZ Public Sector, ensuring our product roadmap aligns with industry needs.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years industry experience with a strong understanding of trends, challenges, workflows, and digital transformation within the ANZ Public Sector landscape.
- Subject matter expertise with public sector agreement types, data points, and agreement processes within the ANZ Public Sector vertical.
- Both in-house and prior experience in a consulting capacity with a technology provider to the ANZ Public Sector.
- Experience with or clear aptitude to master complex technologies and contract analytics.
- Ability to demonstrate experience handling complex sales problems in a fast-growing, dynamic environment supporting multiple levels of leadership.
- Excellent cross-functional collaborator and strategic problem solver with prior success building cross-functional teams.
- Ability to advise customers, partners, and internal teams on implementation strategies both at the project level and for overall best practices.
- Capable of building, implementing, and supervising sales methodologies, processes, and policies that deliver results and support strategic goals.
- Excellent written communication skills, including capability to develop and execute thought-leadership assets.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
