Senior Manager, Student Accessibility and Inclusion

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Student Accessibility and Inclusion team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges faced by people with disabilities in higher education and be able to develop and implement personalized learning supports based on students' needs.
About the RoleThe Senior Manager, Student Accessibility & Inclusion will be responsible for leading the implementation of evidence-based practices to increase student retention at the University of Wollongong. This will involve working closely with faculties and departments to embed principles of universal design into institutional teaching and learning practices and student experience.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Student Accessibility and Inclusion team to develop students' agency to succeed in their studies
- Develop and implement personalized learning supports based on students' needs
- Work with faculties and departments to embed principles of universal design into institutional teaching and learning practices and student experience
- Assess barriers and apply legislation to ensure compliance with disability standards
- Lead a team in evidence-based practices to improve service provision
The successful candidate will have:
