Job Title: Reservations Manager

About the Role

The Reservations Manager will be responsible for supervising and supporting the Reservations Team to ensure high standards of service are maintained for all guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, support and train Reservations Team Members to observe standards and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Handle incoming reservations enquiries via telephone and email in a timely manner, up-selling and maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Input bookings to maximise back-to-back bookings and monitor room allotments and availability.
  • Understand Property Management Systems (PMS) and other online Reservation Systems.
  • Coordinate group bookings, fulfilling client requests and special needs where possible.
  • Maintain records of special accounts and travel agency statistics.
  • Problem-solve systems issues and customer requests.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Hotel Reservations required.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and make guests' stays memorable.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
