About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and process-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales orders in our ERP system, ensuring accurate prices, discounts, and product items.
- Liaise with Sales Operations and logistics to track order and payment status, and update customers accordingly.
- Build relationships with customers to achieve business outcomes.
- Monitor customer credit facilities to ensure compliance with terms.
- Respond to customer order queries.
- Process and archive general documents.
- Coordinate with HQ for order entry and processing.
- Provide data, reports, and general back office support to the sales team.
- Prepare shipping documents to assist business personnel in controlling shipments and handling import and export matters for distributors.
- Support administrative tasks for marketing activities.
- Provide communication support to the marketing team in HQ.
Requirements
- Experience working in administrative support within an organization.
- Experience working within a project organization or supporting projects within an organization.
- High level of communication skills – on different levels within the company, with customers, and partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate Word, basic Excel), CRM, and ERP applications.
- Knowledge of administration and clerical processes.
- Highly organized and process-oriented.
- PV Solar experience – an advantage.
- Able to work independently within deadlines.
- Self-motivated.
- Negotiation skills.
