Sales Administrator Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join their team. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team in a well-established manufacturing company that specializes in Metal Stamping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders and manage the order fulfillment process.
  • Book new RFQs onto the system and update the system for quoted business.
  • Manage price amendments on the MRP system and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on Sales Team KPIs.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve internal and customer queries.
  • Provide mainline switchboard support and handle customer inquiries.
  • Experience with booking international shipping and contract review, including drawing control checks.
  • Compile cross-functional team KPIs and departmental presentations.
  • Communicate directly with customers and smaller accounts.
  • Carry out project handover meetings on behalf of the Sales Team if required.
  • Liaise with the Sales Team for outstanding queries.
  • Confidently use an array of Customer Portals for data downloads.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a sales administration role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proactive and effective communicator with a forward-thinking approach.
Benefits:
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Competitive salary: £28,000 DOE.
  • Standard working hours: 08:30am - 17:00pm Mon - Thur, 08:30am - 13:30pm Fri.
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).
