Business Partnering Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Partner to support our manufacturing site. This role will work collaboratively with the Corporate People Team to achieve people outcomes.

This opportunity is ideal for a professional ready to step into a partnering role. You'll be instrumental in building leadership capability, driving cultural initiatives, and supporting operational leaders with best-practice guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational advice on people matters to maintain cultural aspirations and build leadership capability.
  • Implement strategies across talent planning, learning and development, culture, employment relations, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leaders to support ER/IR processes including performance management, absenteeism, workplace investigations, medical terminations, grievances, and EA negotiations.
  • Support change management initiatives to ensure minimal industrial impact, strong employee engagement, and business continuity.
  • Lead training initiatives, particularly those aligned with the Supply Chain learning framework.
  • Contribute to developing and facilitating training for operational leaders to build leadership capability and behaviors.
  • Participate in local and organisation-wide People and Culture initiatives and projects.
  • Provide people metrics and advice to key stakeholders to support informed workforce planning decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR Business Partnering or generalist HR functions, ideally within FMCG or a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering HR initiatives, especially in onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement.
  • Experience in implementing and improving learning frameworks and systems.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen and a customer-focused approach.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded).
