Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

This role plays a critical part in day-to-day payroll operations, providing expertise in system implementation and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HRIS project team to test, migrate and implement new system features.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure workflows remain efficient and streamlined.
  • Provide confident support for payroll-related inquiries.
  • Assist with fortnightly and monthly payroll processing with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, including onboarding, terminations and leave management.
Your Skills and Qualifications

You will possess:

  • Experience in system implementation or configuration, with a focus on adaptability, teamwork and process enhancement.
  • A strong understanding of Australian employment laws and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Proven expertise in accurate payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication skills – whether working with people or data, you convey information clearly and confidently.
  • Hands-on experience managing HRIS systems efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Employment Hero software is an advantage but not essential.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a combination of technical expertise and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively within a team environment.
