Join one of Australia's most respected family-owned and operated wine and spirit producers. We are currently seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our dedicated Finance and HR team. Based in Adelaide, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately maintaining and preparing two fortnightly payrolls, which involves uploading, data entry, and verifying timekeeping records, processing leave records, and managing wage rate changes.
- Ensuring that employee records are up to date in both the payroll system and employee files.
- Generating statutory reports, such as those related to superannuation, payroll tax, workers' compensation, and other required documentation.
- Providing payroll information to managers and addressing any inquiries they may have.
- Responsively addressing employee and manager inquiries and providing the necessary assistance.
Additionally, as the Payroll & Administration Officer, you will offer valuable administrative support to our Finance, HR, and Quality teams.
To excel in this role, you must possess the following essential skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing functions.
- The ability to interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- A meticulous attention to detail, along with strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- A track record of working effectively within deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
