About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our dynamic and expanding team in Sydney as the Director of Research and Consulting for our Power and Renewables practice. As a key member of our global power and renewables team, you will be responsible for power market analysis, modelling updates, client engagement, and business development for the Australia market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our team of analysts in power market analysis, modelling updates, and client engagement
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth in the Australia market
  • Collaborate with our global power and renewables team to develop high-impact research and thought leadership for clients
  • Manage and deliver high-quality research and advisory services to clients, including power price forecasts, technology costs and LCOE, capacity outlooks, and power asset valuation
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and other experts in the power and renewables industry
Requirements
  • Direct experience within the power and renewables industry or in a related consulting environment
  • Proven experience in team management, business development, and project management
  • Strong understanding of the Australian power and renewables sector, renewables technologies, business models, and strategies
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an open and trusting way across the broader consulting, research, and sales teams
