About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Director to join our team at NGO Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective communications strategies to drive meaningful policy change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead media and communications strategies to achieve maximum impact
  • Manage a talented team to raise public awareness and drive policy change
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government, and community groups
  • Oversee the development and delivery of compelling and consistent messaging across all communications channels
  • Identify opportunities for increased media coverage and appearances
  • Develop and implement a content strategy to grow and consolidate our supporter base and audience
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and leading media and communications strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in an agile environment with competing demands
  • Expertise in crafting, editing, and disseminating compelling written and digital content
