About the Role

As a HR Business Partner, you will build strong relationships with leaders and colleagues to provide expert advice on all staff matters.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing guidance on employment terms, conditions, and legislative obligations to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Supporting managers in addressing performance management, organisational change, and employee relations matters, promoting a positive working environment and resolving conflicts.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving HR policies and processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and operational efficiency.
  • Partnering with various departments to address business unit issues, contribute to employee engagement initiatives, and support wellness, diversity, and inclusion programs.
  • Analysing and reporting on employment-related data, providing insights and recommendations to improve key employee metrics and reduce turnover.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a similar generalist human resources role, preferably in the tourism, hospitality, or retail sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work and industrial relations, including Award interpretation.
  • Effective coaching, relationship building, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to create high-performing teams.
  • Passion for analysing data to inform practice change.
