The Leadership and Strategy Director is responsible for driving organisational performance, fostering partnerships with stakeholders and customers, and overseeing the management of customer portfolios and programs. This role requires effective leadership, governance, and strategic direction to achieve high-quality outcomes for the organisation.

  • Drive business growth through strategic planning and implementation.
  • Provide comprehensive briefings and advice on risks, policies, and consultation issues to senior leaders.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and community organisations.
  • Lead the development of responsive, integrated, and customer-focused services.
  • Oversee the management of customer portfolios and programs, procurement, asset management, business improvements, and key strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve workforce capability, client satisfaction, and workplace health and safety.
  2. Lead the effective use of financial and human resources to deliver programs and projects sustainably.
  3. Align business systems and policies to support reporting frameworks and statewide initiatives.
  4. Establish systems to track and report progress against time, quality, and cost indicators.
  5. Participate in key internal and external committees and program boards to advance the strategic agenda.

Technical/Operational Expertise:

">Desirable experience relevant to business strategy and development in the context of the building and construction industry.Highly regarded to have Business Strategy and Planning experience.">
