Job Overview:
The role of a Head Medical Receptionist/Clerical In Charge is to lead and manage a team of administrative staff, providing a positive and inclusive work environment. This full-time position involves training, mentoring, and developing staff, overseeing daily reception operations, and delivering high-quality customer service and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the administration team by setting goals, objectives, and performance expectations
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration
- Oversee daily reception operations, including clerical duties, to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver high-quality customer service and patient care by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support
- Manage patient records, Medicare billing, and banking with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the site leadership team to support patients, staff, and radiologists in achieving business objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You should have experience in a medical administration environment and possess a strong understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection.
A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or healthcare management, is preferred. Additionally, you should have proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications commonly used in office environments.
