The role of the Nurse Unit Manager is to lead and coordinate healthcare services, ensuring best practice standards in clinical practice and patient-centered care within a team.
This position involves coaching and supporting others to deliver high-quality care for children, young people, and families, in accordance with established frameworks and values.
You will be responsible for fulfilling the responsibilities of this role in accordance with relevant awards, generic level statements, and organizational commitments and values.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Nursing Qualifications: You must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Leadership Experience: You must have experience in leadership roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-Solving Skills: You must have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
