Senior Contract Administrator to
provide leadership and expertise in contract management, procurement, and commercial governance.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Logan Water Partnership, this role is pivotal to ensuring our projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, project budgets, and governance frameworks. You'll play a key part in protecting Downer's commercial entitlements, managing subcontractors, resolving claims, and guiding the broader project team in contract administration best practice.

What you'll do

  • Provide contract management leadership across the full lifecycle of Logan Water projects.
  • Manage subcontract tendering, negotiation, administration, and close-out.
  • Support project teams with contractual advice, dispute resolution, Variation & EOT assessment, and change management,
  • Drive compliance with Downer's Delivery Management Methodology and governance processes.
  • Assist procurement processes and mentor Contract Administrators to build capability.

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business, Finance, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Sr. contract administration role with a Tier 1 contractor (ideally in utilities or infrastructure).
  • Strong understanding of contract law, and risk management processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and commercial focus.
