Our Australian and New Zealand operations are the leading EV fleet owner and operator in the region. We're seeking locally based hires in our Network Infrastructure team to join our existing EV team in Australia.

A Day in the Life

- Lead development efforts for greenfield and acquired energy storage systems, focusing on site identification, land acquisition and permitting/zoning.

- Cultivate and manage external resources for effective delivery within budget.

- Develop commercial off-take and market trading strategies to support business cases.

- Report on pipeline and in-development sites, covering critical path items and risk profile.

- Manage key counterparties and stakeholders, ensuring safe and supportive work environments.

Your Experience

- 10+ years' experience in renewables project development, preferably for standalone BESS and/or grid-scale resources (100 MW+).

- Strong understanding of BESS technology, including critical components and safety systems.

- Identify optimal locations for battery storage, secure sites and obtain environmental and grid approvals.

- In-depth knowledge of planning and connection regimes in the National Electricity Market.

- Develop investable business cases and negotiate offtake arrangements.

- Negotiate and manage key project contracts.

- Demonstrate skill in managing internal and external stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary development teams.
