Cyber Underwriter Role

Deliver a profitable underwriting service to clients by reviewing complex submissions, calculating risk premiums, and advising on insurance and risk management matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing complex submissions and determining the degree of risk for each account
  • Calculating risk premiums and ensuring profitability
  • Proactively advising and assisting clients on insurance and risk management matters
  • Effective relationship management to initiate opportunities for cross-selling and account retention
  • Coordinating with internal teams to determine appropriate reinsurance for risk placements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the relevant class of business
  • Ability to exercise discretion and use judgment to identify and solve problems
  • Marketing skills to plan for sales and business development
  • Negotiation and sales skills to conduct negotiations with brokers and clients
