Job Title: Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining data centre infrastructure using the latest technology to ensure all systems within the organization function efficiently and reliably.

The ideal candidate should be ambitious, professionally driven, and willing to undertake additional learning to stay updated with evolving technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining data centre infrastructure using the latest technology.
  • Managing system security and overseeing application information transfers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Developing and implementing technical strategies to improve data centre efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
  • VMware certification.
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+
  • Office 365.
  • Experience with data centre infrastructure and facilities.
  • Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Valid driving license.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a telco environment.
  • Microsoft Server / Active Directory / DNS / DHCP / Linux.
  • Microsoft Group Policy.
  • File server management.
  • Endpoint protection.
  • Virtualization with VMware vSphere / ESXi.
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
  • Basic networking skills including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with backup systems like Veeam.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems such as Office 365.
  • Identity & Access Management.
  • Support for ERP and HR & Payroll admin systems, including user creation, security management, and system backup.
