Job Opportunity: Infrastructure & Data Centre Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure & Data Centre Engineer to take on this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation and proactive management of IT infrastructure, encompassing Cloud Platforms, Storage Systems, and IT Applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure using the latest technology.
  • Ensure all available systems function efficiently and faultlessly.
  • Manage Internet connections, cabling, virtualization platforms, and storage area networks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong work ethics, be reliable, dependable, confident, and trustworthy. They will also be responsible for managing system security in-house and managing application information transfers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
  • Virtualization - VMware vSphere / ESXi.
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / VMware Horizon.
  • Basic Networking experience including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
  • Backup systems and solutions - Veeam.
  • Cloud-based systems – Office 365, Azure, AWS.
  • Identity & Access Management.
  • Good understanding of Datacenter Operations.
  • Datacentre infrastructure and facilities experience.

Candidates must be ambitious and professionally driven, willing to take on additional learning to remain abreast of evolving technology.
