HR Generalist Opportunity

This role presents a chance to contribute to the delivery of strategic and operational human resources support across the business. Reporting to the People and Culture Business Partnering Manager, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders to drive best practice outcomes, manage employee relations, and contribute to the implementation of our people plan.

You will provide generalist HR advice on performance management, onboarding, retention, and career development. Additionally, you will manage and resolve employee relations cases, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the implementation of operational people strategies aligned with business goals, partnering with recruitment to advise on remuneration, selection, and placement processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements.

About You
  • A tertiary qualification or diploma in human resources or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a generalist people and culture role is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, Fair Work Act, and NES is necessary.
  • Skilled in managing complex employee cases and coaching leaders through resolution.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities are required.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused and inclusive approach are necessary.
Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level.

Your eligibility for this role depends on your ability to obtain and maintain such clearance.
