\Job Description:\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to lead the Human Resources function across Australia and New Zealand for two of our globally renowned brands.

\

This is a true HR generalist role with responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring alignment with our global HR strategy while tailoring solutions to local business needs.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Business Partnership – Act as a trusted advisor to Regional and Local Brand Leaders, Store Managers, and the Corporate Team on all HR-related matters; provide strategic and operational HR support to retail and head office functions.\
  • Employee Relations & Compliance – Manage employee relations issues end-to-end, including performance management, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary matters; ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand employment legislation and internal HR policies; interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.\
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – Oversee recruitment activities for both retail and corporate roles, ensuring a strong talent pipeline and brand alignment; support hiring managers with interview processes, offers, and onboarding.\
  • Performance & Development – Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, and development planning; identify training and development needs; partner with the global HR team to implement local learning initiatives.\
  • HR Operations – Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems; lead one direct report – HR & Talent Officer; prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics to support business decisions.\
  • Culture & Engagement – Lead local engagement initiatives and employee communication programs; champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and wellbeing programs aligned with our global values.
\Requirements:\
  • Minimum 5+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment (retail or luxury fashion preferred).\
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and the General Retail Industry Award.\
  • Experience in New Zealand employment law is highly desirable.\
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality.\
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.\
  • Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented.\
  • Experience using HRIS platforms is preferred.\
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
