Operate Freight Trains Safely

The core purpose of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient working of freight trains. Your key responsibilities will include operating locomotives in a safe and efficient manner, carrying out shunting at yards, depots and sidings, and preparing documentation associated with the operation of the train.
About the Role:As part of our team, you will be responsible for operating highly technologically advanced locomotives and rolling stock in our operations. This includes ensuring the safe movement of freight trains across various routes.
About You:We are looking for someone with strong commitment to following rules and operating safely, as well as a high level of concentration. A Certificate IV in Train Driving and basic knowledge of safe-working procedures in a railway environment are essential.
The Process:Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a series of assessments including a recent national criminal history check, a Current C Class or higher Drivers Licence, and Cat 1 Rail Medical.
