Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with strict safety standards and regulations at all times
  • Demonstrate expertise in navigating various routes to deliver freight on time
  • Perform thorough pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment daily
  • Maintain adherence to operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Utilize appropriate load restraint techniques to ensure safe transportation
  • Effectively manage fatigue in accordance with industry guidelines

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess an impeccable safety record, a minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles, and exhibit strong commitment to safety protocols. Additionally, they should have a good understanding of load restraint, knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Road Transport Legislation, ability to manage fatigue effectively, high-quality customer service skills, and experience with or willingness to learn in-cab technology.
