Job Title: Coronary Care Unit Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology Service team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a Coronary Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide nursing services within current nursing models of care, focusing on patient-centered acute inpatient services for life-threatening or potentially life-threatening conditions.
  • Work in a 16-bed Coronary Care Unit with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in some areas and 1:3 or 1:4 ratios in others, depending on patient care needs.
  • Encourage Advanced Life Support Skills and provide individualized learning and training programs for Registered Nurses.

Qualifications:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
