Lead Cardiac Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Cardiac Nurse Specialist to join our team at Calvary Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a leading healthcare organisation that prioritises patient-centred quality care.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in cardiac nursing, with a strong focus on providing high-quality clinical support to staff. You will be responsible for supporting and entrenching a culture of clinical excellence and best practice within the Cardiac Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical support to staff in the Cardiac Unit
- Support and develop a culture of clinical excellence and best practice
- Collaborate with medical officers to deliver high-quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years post-graduate cardiac nursing experience
- Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and procedures
- Demonstrated advanced interpersonal and organisational skills
- Effective working relationships with medical practitioners, managers, and staff
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organisation, and decision-making skills
- Able to build positive relationships with patients and their families
- Ability to work and lead a team
- Commitment to excellence in customer service and continuous quality improvement
