Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote independence and support residents in engaging in meaningful activities

  • Administer medications safely and efficiently, and report any concerns or adverse reactions
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to Personal Carers as needed
  • Maintain current knowledge of best practice clinical care within the scope of enrolled nursing
  • Report any risks that may cause accidents or injuries
  • Keep accurate records and ensure comprehensive handovers between shifts
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. You will also possess excellent communication skills, a level of English literacy that enables you to communicate effectively with older people, and the ability to read and write clearly and concisely.

You will have previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged Care environment and be able to manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines and support other staff. A high level of understanding of dementia requirements and aged care standards is also essential.
