About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team at The Salvation Army Australia. As a Case Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality case management and support to clients accessing our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client issues, needs, and circumstances, and develop case plans in response.
  • Support clients to access other support services and establish community supports, as appropriate.
  • Implement and review clients' case plans in accordance with our case management models and standards of practice.
  • Identify gaps in service delivery and recommend how these can be addressed through discussion with the Coordinator and Corps Officer.
  • Take appropriate preventative action in relation to potential high-risk situations, as per policy and procedure.
  • Monitor and clearly communicate case plan progress and outcomes to the Senior Case Manager.
Requirements
  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
  • Certificate IV or above qualifications in community services or similar and/or extensive, demonstrated previous experience working in a similar position.
  • Experience working with people who may not have English as a first language.
  • Demonstrates a positive and balanced approach to work.
  • NT Working with Children Check.
  • National Police check.
  • A current driver's license.
