About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Wellbeing Worker to join our team at TeamHEALTH. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering strength-based case management and activities to children, young people, and families in line with program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outreach support to assist in the development and implementation of participant-centred Family Action Plans.
  • Establish good referral pathways, into and out of the service, to reach vulnerable children, young people, and families who may not otherwise engage with the mental health or children's service sector.
  • Provide education, training, and information to promote awareness of mental health to participants of the program and the community.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate level qualification in a relevant health or welfare discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children, young people, and families, including Indigenous and Culturally and Linguistically diverse (CALD) people.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of a strength-based approach, and competence in a range of interventions relevant to children and young people.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including participants, community members, and other services.
