Food Industry Sales Director

Sustain Recruit is seeking a dynamic Technical National Sales Manager to join our expanding team in Melbourne. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through a combination of key account management and new business acquisition strategies.
About the Role- Identify and maximise on opportunities within new and existing client accounts to drive revenue growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts and national clients to achieve sales targets
- Create and manage territory plans, setting measurable goals and timelines to ensure success
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems for prospecting, planning, and sales activities
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Service, to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Provide valuable insights to marketing and sales teams regarding competition and market dynamics
- Participate in local and national trade shows to showcase our products and services
- Minimum 5 years' experience in business-to-business sales environments with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue targets
- Previous sales experience in hardware solution selling, with relevant industry knowledge (highly desirable)
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry, preferably in processing or quality
- Proficiency in cross-selling and Value Based Selling techniques
