Front Office Manager Role

Oaks Hotels & Resorts is a leading provider of apartment-style accommodations in Australasia, managing a portfolio of over 55 properties across five countries.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office team at Oaks Cable Beach Resort.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Welcoming Experience: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests, demonstrating a commitment to service excellence and maintaining front office and reception operational standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive business results.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain open and honest communication with guests and team members, ensuring accurate bookings and resolving guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Task Management: Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including maintaining accurate guest accounts and assisting with daily reporting.
  • Roster Management: Effectively manage team rosters to meet budgets and business needs.
  • Recruitment Support: Support the Hotel Manager with recruitment and talent development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Hotel Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience at a supervisor level within a hotel environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, with an unwavering positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of trust accounting and ability to maintain accurate guest accounts.
  • Availability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
