About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Food and Beverage leader to provide exceptional experiences for our guests. This full-time opportunity is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our team, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and project friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
  • Set up and manage restaurant operations to meet booking requirements and customer requests.
  • Oversee the break down and cleaning of restaurant areas.
  • Assist with rostering requirements and shift coverage.
  • Provide staff training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Supervise and manage staff on shift, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve barista-standard coffee and other beverages.
  • Facilitate room service, taking orders and delivering food and beverages to guests.
  • Ensure compliance with RSA government legislation requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas.
  • Set up and break down of Function and Events on site.
  • Oversee and manage daily open and closing procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant hospitality experience, preferably in a fine dining environment.
  • Good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff.
  • Certifications in RSA and other relevant areas.
