About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, skilled sales professional who thrives on networking, strategic planning, and hands-on event coordination. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for growing our conference and events business by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Proactively source new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Conduct site inspections and familiarisation tours to showcase facilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare tailored proposals, and close sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences from planning to execution.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in hospitality, meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) or related fields.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Results-focused with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • A self-starter with a proactive, positive approach.
