About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Intercom. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and technical assistance to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers via our own product and phone to resolve technical issues.
  • Own customer communications and issues from initial contact until resolution.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Intercom's product and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Utilize technical expertise to build tools and workflows that improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of technical support experience.
  • Understanding of web development basics, Git, Ruby, Rails, APIs, and REST API.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and utilize resources to answer questions on baseline topics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of technical coding bootcamps or programs.
  • Previous experience working in a troubleshooting environment.
