About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing remote troubleshooting and first-line technical support to Japanese and English-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote troubleshooting and first-line technical support to Japanese and English-speaking clients.
  • Offer customized product recommendations and solutions for complex mechanical issues.
  • Analyze product design, conduct technical evaluations, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations via webcasts or other remote technologies.
  • Prepare technical data, research information, and create Bill of Materials for projects.
  • Conduct technical training for internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (B2B communication skills highly valued).
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial sales/support or industrial equipment specification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D CAD software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
