Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Work Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as a vital link between the Workplace Health, Safety, and Wellbeing team's strategic vision and the practical implementation of safety initiatives at our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and promote a proactive safety culture by providing timely advice and support to Site Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members.
  • Identify and report potential hazards, near misses, work-related incidents, and injuries.
  • Drive continuous improvement of safety standards across Endeavour Foundation sites.
  • Conduct on-site safety inspections and risk assessments, fostering a collaborative approach with site personnel.
  • Deliver engaging WHS training and toolbox talks to teams across various locations.
  • Assist in incident response and investigations, ensuring all corrective actions are completed.
  • Maintain WHS documentation and resources, ensuring everything is up to date and accessible.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000, plus benefits such as package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) or relevant discipline.
  • Experience in incident investigation and risk management, with tools such as Taproot/ICAM highly desirable.
  • Fire Safety Advisor qualifications are essential for Queensland-based roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience as a WHS Advisor or similar role is advantageous, but we're open to equivalent skills and experience.
  • A valid and current driver's licence is required, as this role will involve travel between sites.
