
Strategic Retirement Communities Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Leader to oversee our thriving retirement communities across a geographically dispersed region. This pivotal role involves driving operational excellence, championing resident satisfaction, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Your impact will be significant as you play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of our retirement living communities. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing executive oversight of a regional portfolio of retirement villages, ensuring alignment with our organization's strategic goals and performance objectives.
- Leading and supporting Village Managers to deliver exceptional resident experiences and foster a culture of empowerment and engagement.
- Driving financial performance through effective budget management, cost optimization, and strategic planning.
- Championing resident satisfaction, using insights to improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) and deliver service excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with industry legislation, accreditation standards, and our quality frameworks.
- Collaborating across contracts, sales, marketing, property, and support services to achieve strategic and financial targets.
- Representing our organization in industry forums and advocacy initiatives, enhancing our visibility and influence within the sector.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Health, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership in operational management within complex, multi-dimensional organizations, ideally in the retirement, health, or community sectors.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing complex budgets and driving financial governance.
- Demonstrated success in leading organizational change and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities with sound judgment and strategic focus.
- A passion for service excellence and a resident-first mindset.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A track record of delivering business transformation initiatives that enhance service quality and resident satisfaction.
